We are looking for a passionate localization project manager, who has seen many projects from conception to completion. Great communication skills and the ability to maintain tight relationships across a broad set of partners and clients are crucial to be successful. Also, having experience in working with international teams and passion for top of class customer experience would be a huge plus as well.

Job Description

  • Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with our clients, internal team (based in Korea and US) as well as our translation freelancers.
  • Plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements.
  • Collaborate with our contents team to create, implement and maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, and instructions.
  • Work closely with external and internal language service providers to ensure on-time, high-quality translation delivery.
  • Negotiate, create and manage project quotes and budgets, and organize and participate in client meetings
  • Establishing strong relationships with both our clients and internal resources.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in localization project management
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in tight timeframes, while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Has a good understanding of Memsource and SDL Trados
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently and with the team
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fast learner with a sense of responsibility
  • Dubbing project management experience would be a big plus

Glocalize is seeking for a talented Localization Project Manager (APAC) to not only handle our localization projects but also spearhead our business in the APAC regions.

Work place : Singapore
Job Type : Full-time

Job Description

  • Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with our clients, internal team (based in Korea and the US) as well as our translation freelancers.
  • Responsible for setting up the Singapore office and build a strong basis for business expansion throughout the APAC regions.
  • Monitor market trends, develop business strategies and establish strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality, and budget requirements.
  • Collaborate with our contents team to create, implement and maintain appropriate client- or project-specific procedures, solutions, and instructions.
  • Work closely with external and internal language service providers to ensure on-time, high-quality translation delivery.
  • Negotiate, create and manage project quotes and budgets, and organize and participate in client meetings.
  • In charge of Korean language quality and work with the overall quality manager based in the US.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the localization industry, preferable in the entertainment field.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in tight timeframes, while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment with the ability to work independently.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fast learner with a sense of responsibility.
  • Experience as a linguist/translator and/or dubbing PM experience would be a plus.
